Baker Boy

I recently spent some time with Aaron in the kitchen.  He's never been very interested in helping out like my girls have.  I told him the he needed to learn...to know how to read and execute a recipe.  He was pretty proud of his peanut butter chocolate chip brownies!

Out of the Mouths...

This morning Aaron set up his Nerf basketball hoop in the kitchen.  Him and Greta were playing for awhile.  Aaron came running up to the hoop trying to dunk yelling, "I'm LeBron James!!!!"

Greta, who's clearly not up on her famous athletes, yells: "And I'm Helen Keller!!"

Josiah: "Mom, what's a wupper?"

Me: "A what?"

Jo: "A wupper."

Me. "I have no idea.  I've never heard of a wupper."

Jo: "You know, like a fixer wupper."

Super Bowl 50

This year's Super Bowl game was a big one in our house.  Steve has been a long time fan of the Denver Broncos and this year they made it to the big game.  It was fun to see the kids get excited and love the team either because of or in spite of their dad's love of them!!

The other day Josiah was sitting on the steps putting on his shoes getting ready to go to the movies with his Uncle Jeremy and Aunt Carissa.  He said to me: "I'm going to wash my hair."

I asked: "Why do you need to wash your hair?"

Jo: "So I can look radical."

His radicalness deserved a photo.
