Little helper

Yesterday the girls were unloading the dishwasher for me.
Imagine my surprise when Claudia shouted, "Hey mom, Aaron's
helping!" He had climbed into the dishwasher and was handing
her the plates. It was pretty cute. We're puttin' this
kid to work young!!

Update

Many of you have asked how I am doing with my pregnancy.
I am so thankful to say that I have most definitely turned
a corner in the nausea department. I am so thankful that it
has mostly passed. I still have my moments but overall
it is way better. I have cooked for the last 3 nights which
is a tremendous improvement, that's about how many nights I've
cooked in the last 2 months!!
I went to the doc on Monday for my 12 week check up and it
is always so fun to hear the heartbeat. With all the craziness
of life, I so often forget that there is a little one swimming
around in there! I read that this week the baby has developed
its fingerprints and is the size of a medium shrimp. Crazy
miracle it is.
A few weeks ago when my days consisted of naps and laying on the
couch, Morgan made me the following little sign. It was so
precious to me:



I know that it's pretty hard to read.
It says, "Morgan 5 (her age) Mom I think that you are the best
mom I love you mom"
What a treat when I felt like a terrible mom for the last few
weeks. So glad that she still sees something good in me!!

Baby Alana

Once again we are back in Lancaster, this time to welcome a new
little Heitland into the world. Steve's brother Shawn and his wife
Kayla had their baby girl on Valentines Day. Her name is Alana Sue,
named after Kayla's dad (Alan) and Shawn's mom. She is a little
cutie, looking just like her mamma. Everyone is doing well. Here
are some pictures of Alana.

Treats

Today in the mail the kids received a box of goodies from
Steve's mom (as the kids call her, Maw). Little Aaron somehow
immediately knew they were treats and has been walking around
holding his teddy and sucking on a wrapped lollipop. It's
pretty funny.

Lil' thief

Brenda Plank (a good friend from our home church) sent some homemade
cinnamon rolls along with her hubby who is visiting this week. The
girls had one for a snack this morning. Claudia had some left on
her plate that she left on the table and was saving for later. I was
at the stove making lunch and turned around and this was what I saw:
