So my sweet little competitive Greta...
I was excited to watch her run because she loves to run and we had been practicing the race for weeks. As soon as the race started, I could tell she was trying to run a girl off the track. I snapped a bunch of pictures and you can see it all unfolding frame by frame. It's pretty funny.
Ironically, my dad was working at a job only a mile down the road from where we were and he came to see Greta run. He was at the finish line and as we were talking after the race and I told him what she had done he said, "She didn't know what she was doing, did she?" I was certain that she did.
So I go and ask her why she was running crooked, "Because that girl was fast and I didn't want her to beat me. Smart kid.
The start of the race. Greta is the second from the right in the pink skirt. Not my finest photography but this was all my lens could handle.

| Looking over, seeing her competition |
 |
| You can see her starting to run at a diagonal, keeping her eye on the blondie |
 |
| At this point I started screaming at her that she was not allowed to run the girl off the track |
 |
| Straightening out for a "fair" finish of the race |
 |
| Concentrating hard |

| There's a bit of a smile |
