Mommy pride

In an assignment for school, Claudia had to write a report about "Who is your hero?". The following is what she put together:

My heros are my Mom and Dad, they are some of the most important people of my life. My Mom and Dad have many similarities. For example, they both like to spend time with me. They are different in many ways to. Dad is a very good carpenter and Mom is a very good cook. These are some of the things I like about them. I am glad my parents are different.
One thing I like about my Dad is that when he has projects he includes us. When he reshingled the shed we got to go on the roof. Another thing I like about my Dad is when he has time off work he spend time with us. Like the time we went tubing and I almost crashed into a bridge! One thing I like about my Mom is she spends time to do fun stuff with us like cook and do crafts. Another thing I like about my Mom is she is very neat and organized so we can find stuff easily.
My heros are my Mom and Dad because they are such loving parents. I am very grateful for my parents.

Thank you, Margaret and EA!!

This weekend Steve and I had a retreat to go to and our kiddos
were blessed to be watched by 2 sisters. They go to our church
and are from a wonderful family. The kids have so much fun with
these girls. Shortly after we got home, Aaron said to me, "Bye,
Mom!" Was that a hint??!

Here the girls are with Margaret and Elizabeth Anne

The following photos were taken in my absence...

Thanks, girls for taking such great care of the kids and having
fun with them!!

Beautiful Days

We have had some amazing weather this week. It
feels like the beginning of spring, but I know not to
get my hopes up. I think they are even calling for some snow
this weekend. But for me, spring can't come fast
enough. We have been trying to take advantage of the
weather and spend some time outside. We took the
kids to the park on Monday. Aaron was in heaven, poor
little guy has been cooped up way to long!!

Aaron in our yard today, it was in the 60's!!

Fun in the snow

Yesterday my cousin Shannon and her 2 boys came over to
play in the snow. Just Morgan and QJ went out. Claudia was
too sick, Aaron was too crabby, and the babies were too little!!
I took some pics of he 2 outside and when I came in I realized
that my camera was in black and white mode. I went back
out to shoot some in color and they weren't really into it, so b&w
snow shots it is!
