Atticus and Brooklyn
My kids are so thrilled to have their cousins so close. We love that they go to our church and we get to see them regularly!
Catching Up
I'm not sure if anyone else still looks at this blog except my kids. This was once a thriving place for me. I was constantly taking pictures, documenting, and it was a creative outlet amidst the chaos of raising kids. Things have changed: my kids are not so little any more and they don't love me taking their picture. Documenting teens and preteens is very different than documenting a baby. I don't have the time to sit down and edit like I once did when I was feeding or rocking a baby. Many of my photos are on my phone and never even make it to this computer I'm typing on.
Also, life has been pretty crazy these last couple years. I've been walking through some health stuff that has kicked me pretty hard. Morgan has also been quite sick and was recently diagnosed with POTS. We are spending a lot of time trying to understand what is best for her and how to get her feeling better. Steve is still plugging away at his doctoral work. He started back again this fall and he's diligent as ever but man, life is full.
My hope is that I can continue keeping this place updated as source of memories for my family. My photography has brought us much joy and laugher as we look back. So here's to an imperfect blog!!
