Mismatched

About a month ago we kicked Josiah out of his bedroom and moved him upstairs to share a room with big brother.  Josiah's room is now host to dad and his truckload of books.

In the transition, he spent a few days on his mattress on the floor.  I snapped this shot and realized he's sleeping with 3 things from 3 different grandmas.  The Winnie the Pooh pillow Steve's Grandma Ostermann made for Claudia and Morgan years ago.  The orange afghan was made by my Grandma Rudy.  The mint green blanket was made by my mom.  This little boy is wrapped in lots of love!!

Beach Day

This past week my friend Chrissy and I had a glorious day at the beach.  Her 4 kids and my older 4 match up just right and they are all good friends.  What a wonderful day together!!

I love this picture.  Josiah loves Aaron's friend Jaden so much.  What I love about this pic is that Jojo was the one who put his arms around the boys!  I was taking a pic of them just sitting there and he initiated it.

The following 2 pictures are giving me a headache.  They were literally taken seconds apart from each other on different sides of the boat.  I just can't decide which I like better...sun in their faces...sun to their backs.  I'm just posting both!

First Job!!!

My dear firstborn started her first official job yesterday!  Can't believe it is even possible.  Amidst my inner turmoil of seeing her grow up too quickly, I am so happy for her.  She is working at a market in Delaware at a food stand/restaurant.  It's a looooong day but such a fun environment for her.

When she got home late late night you would have thought she was gone for a week.  Everyone was so happy to see her!!
