Waterpark!

One of the highlights of our Massanutten trip was going to the indoor water park.  We had all day tickets (noon-8).  I don't think Steve or I thought we would survive 8 hours in the park but...we made it!!  The kids had so much fun!

This picture makes me laugh.  It's obvious that 4 out of the 5 kids didn't know what to do with the photobombing lifeguard!

Morgan was so determined to master her 360 on the wave and she did it!!

A gazillion gallon bucket of water dropped about every 5 minutes.  Love these shots of Aaron getting hit.

This photo cracks. me. up.  It's Greta, me and Claudia.

Massanutten '15

Our dear friends were so kind to give our family a week at their time share in Virginia. We had such a fun time together, it's always nice to get away.

I went into the week with good intentions of getting lots of school done.  The wifi there was bad so we weren't able to access Aaron's lessons.  So cursive and literature, that was it!

This was a favorite hang out place

It's so funny to overhear kids playing the game Life.  "Yeah, I have twins!!" or "I really hope I get married!"

My husband just loves getting his picture taken

This picture makes me laugh.  At home we get our milk from the Amish, very fresh and creamy.  Greta is very hard-core committed to her fresh milk.  She had a bit of a meltdown when Steve poured store bought milk on her cereal!

You'll notice Claudia is missing from these pics.  She only joined us halfway through the week because of school.

Our ride on the chair lift to the top of the mountain.  Such a beautiful ride!!

Thanks, Dale!!

Are you noticing a theme with these pics?  "Mom, take a picture of me jumping!!"

Claudia:15

Claudia's birthday pictures are a tad late...life has been crazy.  It was fun to take some fall pictures though!

I am still in shock that my 'baby' is 15.  Just doesn't seem possible.  And don't even talk to me about what her next birthday will bring.  AHHH!!

I love this crazy girl so much.  It's been fun to watch her grow up and become her own person with her unique passions and interests.  Ever creative and passionate, she's always looking for something new to dive her thoughts and energies into.

Claudia has developed a strong interest in music and loves to sing, dance, and play piano.  She's always playing, singing, or listening to something.

The past few months have brought a lot of change for her, having a job and going to public school.  She's handling it all with grace and responsibility.  I sure miss having her around as much but I know it's good for her to be gone.  :)

Happy 15, my sweet girl!!

She hates this picture but I think it's adorable. I win.
