Mother's Day 2017

Flower Girl

Greta had the joy and privilege of being the flower girl in her old babysitter's wedding.  Pamela loved and served our family for many many years through watching the kids.  She was thrilled to have Greta by her side!!

20 years

A few weeks back Steve and I celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary.  So hard to believe we are here already, life is just flying by.

Normally we try to do a trip for our anniversary but it just wasn't happening this year, too much going on. We had a wonderful dinner at a new Italian restaurant in town.  (Local, please check out LUCA, it was so yummy!)

The past 20 years have brought many many things.  Lots of trials and tears and conversations and growth.  Lots of joys and laughter and sweet tender moments. Our 5 kids have challenged us and made our life so rich. I wouldn't trade these 20 years for anything.  We are building a wonderful beautiful life together and I'm so grateful for this man who walks to humbly and lovingly by my side.

Easter 2017

Yes, I've fallen off the blogger bandwagon and am SO behind with my photos.  I'll keep plugging away...

Life is HARD when you're 16.  She's out cold on the concrete patio.

I've made these bunnies for years for our Monday morning Easter brunch and this year TOTALY forgot about it.  My kids thought that the world was coming to an end when I suggested that we skip them. My husband kindly drove 20 minutes to get the best sticky buns in town instead of the cheap ones that pop out of the tube that I usually use!
