Sunday afternoon
It seems it's been weeks now that I took these pics, I can't even remember when it was. All I know is that it was a gorgeous Sunday afternoon. I love those warm fall days.

Only in Lancaster...
The other day Claudia and Morgan were gone and I took my 2 littles about a mile down the road to get some gourds. You won't believe the price...
They played at the playground for a little while I admired the gorgeous leaves. It's only 2 weeks later and it's already much browner. How sad.

$20
For about a year, my dad has been daring my girls to eat a whole jalapeno, seeds and all. The reward was $20. I kept telling them to do it, but couldn't convince them. Last weekend, my dad came over with some few of the jalapenos left from his garden. Once again, he dared. This time Claudia took the challenge. She went and got herself a huge glass of milk and dove right in. She didn't even tell anyone that she was going to do it. I didn't get a pic until the very end. She made it, and got the $20. Way to go, Claudia!
These aren't the most flattering pics of my cute girl, but they're "for real"!!

Rough Week
My poor Morgan has had a rough week. First off, she had to miss trick-or-treating b/c of being sick. Steve and I were gone all this week for a pastor's conference and while they were jumping on a trampoline at a sitters house, Claudia's tooth came down on Morgan's head and gave her a huge gash. Our sitter took her in and she got 3 staples in her head. Poor girl. She was very tough and handled it all well. She looks so cute in her bandage, she needs to keep it wrapped until they come out on Monday.
Morgan is taking an on-line poetry class and had to write nonsense poem. Steve and I got a good chuckle out of this one. Remember the stray cat that was visiting us? We haven't seen it in weeks...
Tit tat tat
I'm looking for my cat.
My dad hates cats,
did he kill it
with a bat?

Road trip wrap-up
We enjoyed a little more time with my bro and co. on Sunday and then headed home. We had a great trip, the kids did surprisingly well in the car. We really couldn't have asked for it to go better. It was so fun to be in the Midwest again and to see all our family there.

Avery enjoyed craft time with Claudia
After church we hit a place called "City BBQ" for lunch. SOOOOOO yummy!
Intensely coloring
Baby Drew is never short of affection, esp. from Aaron!!
Some little girly was not happy that we were leaving!!
One of Greta's favorite parts of the trip was the "Cat in the Hat" app that Steve had on his iphone. Greta loved that she got to hold the phone all by herself and have the book read to her.
