Lunch Date

One thing I love about our church is all the wonderful people that my kids get to interact with.  One of the first couples that Steve and I got to be friends with is the Dale and Carol Landis.  Carol is a hoot, the girl keeps me laughing!!  She has babysit the kids for us on a number of different occasions and I think she has a "crush" on Aaron!!  :)
The other day she came and took Aaron and Greta to lunch.  What a treat for them!  Thanks, Carol.  Love ya, girl.

Makeover

Last summer my mom got 2 of these at an auction:

They are not exactly stylish as-is.  She painted them up for me and I love it in my living room!!

The other one has still not found a home.  We'll see...

Trebuchet

I was looking back through my pictures and realized that I never posted the pictures of what my brother made Aaron for Christmas.  I guess I'm not cultured because I had never before heard of a trebuchet.    They are apparently a mid-evil weapon but also used in the classy Pumpkin' Chunkin' show.

Chad taught Aaron that he had to say, "FIRE IN THE HOLE!" whenever he launches it.  He listened.

Just Dance

One of my kids discovered that they can do Wii's Just Dance songs on youtube.  Sometimes I let them jam out.  It's pretty fun to watch.

They Stole My Camera

Recently, it became cool for Aaron and Morgan to use my camera.  I'm not sure how that became ok with me, I'm usually quite protective of it.  It is fun to seen what they capture.
