Happy to be Alive

See the beautiful cabinet in the background?  My sweet and thoughtful hubby has spent many, many hours building it to bring our computer station into a neat and organized space.  He is finished with it, we are just waiting for some cabinet doors to be made for the top side sections.  I will post a picture when it is complete!

Out of the Mouths...

Aaron was reading a little snippet to me about Babe Ruth.  "In 1932... hey Mom, wasn't that the year you were born?"

Greta was also reading to me and came across the word tame.  I explained to her what it meant.  She looked at me with a glow in her eye and said, "Wow, Mommy.  You know so many things!"

Little Jojo has been talking up a storm and we all love it, it's so fun.  The other day Steve and I were out and he was not going to bed for the sitter.  When we finally got home he saw us and said, "Mommy byes.  Mommy back!!  Yeah, Mommy!!"

New Year's Day brunch

Someone didn't eat his food but went and cleaned up after everyone else.

Claudia had a Christmas tea for the girls.  She did such a great job, even making homemade soft pretzels.  The girls LOVE when she does this!!

The Rudy side of the family got together.  It was not a big group this year.  This is only a handful of the next generation!

My brother and his family were here for a week after Christmas.  We had a great time being together.  I love these pics of the boys.
