Random...

We are slowly making progress on the island in our kitchen. My mom has been a wonderful blessing doing almost all of the painting around here. We got the first coat of black on, it really changes the look of things.


Poor little Greta gets so many bumps and bruises around here. We have no idea of where she gets most of them from!! Currently, she has a bruised eye and nobody knows what happened. Was it the fall off the kitchen chair, the Hot Wheels that your brother tossed across the room... poor Greta. She is so squirrely, I have such a hard time getting a cute, in-focus shot of her. This was the best I could get of the bruised eye.


Since we got our new stools for the island, they have become the new favorite place to hang (still no counter, but who cares??). This morning Morgan set up some store where Aaron was buying and trading animals from her, it was funny.


Crazy bed-head


Somehow Aaron's slipper made it as decor on the counter top bracket.


Aaron got a late b-day card in the mail from grandpa H. He was SO thrilled to get something in the mail to open.

Aaron was NOT a happy camper when I took the check that was inside. It was his b-day $, try and explain that concept to a 3 year old. All afternoon he kept asking me if we could go to the bank. This was his reaction when I took the check from him.

Every hear I try to do a Christmas card with our whole family. For whatever reason, (...Becky Howell...) I thought it would be a good idea to try to do a family shot with the self timer. Let's just say that did not work out the greatest. I was sorting through some photos and thought these outtakes were fun to share...

Sissy's Shoes

Greta found a pair of Claudia's shoes and played with them all afternoon yesterday. It was quite cute.

New Slippers

Steve's G-ma O. sent all the kids some adorable, homemade slippers for Christmas. Aaron loves his and wears them almost every day.



P.S. Yes, these are my new stools for my getting-completed island!!

Kids say...

Tonight Steve and I went out to dinner. The kids were home with a sitter and my cell phone rang. It was Morgan calling, she had a very concerned tone to her voice. She proceeded to tell me that Claudia lost a tooth and that it was bleeding...a lot. "I think it's overblooding," were her exact words. Overflowing, overblooding, what's the difference?

Happiness

My attachment vac is small and Greta was having a ball the other day getting some wind from it. I couldn't get a good shot of her, whenever the camera comes out she stops. This dark one was my best...

Game Time

Morgan and Aaron are such good little buddies. She is teaching him all kinds of board games. The new favorite is "Pretty Pretty Princess". I couldn't resist these shots of Aaron having such a good time playing with his sis.
