Easter

On Saturday, my neighbor invited us over for a little egg hunt with my kids and her daughter. The older girls and Aaron had a blast, it's cute to me how excited they get over finding the eggs. Greta was pretty clueless. She has no sense of competition, she found one egg with candy in and that was all she needed.

Easter Sunday morning. This was taken at about 7:30 a.m. Can't believe I got them all decent and to choir practice in time! I love the look on Claudia's face as she's grinning at Aaron. Such the little mommy. Funny, I bought all the girls outfits at different times and when I was done realized that they were all polka dots!

We spent the afternoon/evening at my parents. The kids were all excited for another egg hunt. My parents do candy but also little "coupons" in the eggs like, "a trip to get an ice cream cone" or "get to spend the night with g&g".

Wow, I captured a moment of sharing!

Wow

Thanks to some amazing weather and an eager husband, our outside it looking better and better. We created a walkway back to our someday-to-be-patio and have the front of the house mulched. There is much to be done to fill in the flowerbeds, that will be a fun, slow-going process.

Just one

I've got tons of Easter pics to sort through but am just too tired tonight. Here is one of my faves:

Easter Bunnies

The one Easter tradition I have is to make little bunnies for breakfast for the kids. It's super easy, all I need to do is remember to get the ingredients. It's sweet to see how excited they get over them each year. We had them this morning b/c I have to be at church super early for choir practice.

Greta wasn't too sure of her bunny. Once Morgan told her it was candy she dove right in.

Cuz Stella

This week the girls have spring break from school so life has been at a bit if a slower pace. I am itchin' for summer, let me tell ya!! Today we had my cousin Marlisa and her sweet Stella over. It was so fun to see them and catch up. It's been too long!!

We took a walk to the creek, Stella and Greta were so cute, holding hands the whole way down

A little too bright for a pic. Attempt #1

We tried again at the creek but apparently no one here was in the mood for a pic except Morgan!
