Girls Weekend

A few weeks back my mom, my aunt and a few of my cousins headed out to Ohio for a girls weekend.  We drove to my brother's house and went to a County Living Fair and did some other shopping.  It was such a fun crowd, I wish we could get together more often!!

I loved that Seth and Keely spent so much time with our kids.  Lots of hoops and rounds and rounds of UNO.

Smarts

Uncle Seth and Keely were so kind to help Claudia out with her Algebra.  Let's just say that Uncle gets an A for effort and kindness, and soon-to-be-Aunt gets an A for effort, kindness, and actually understanding Algebra and getting it correct.

New family

My blog has been slow because life has been very, very full.  Thankfully my next few weeks will just be "normal".  We'll see what that means.

A few weeks back Steve's brother Seth and his fiancé Keely came for a visit.  It was very good to see them again, it's been way too long since we've been together.  They are getting married in October.  Our family is very excited to make the trek to Iowa for the wedding.

This picture accurately show how the brothers feel about getting their picture taken.  That is one way that they are all oh-so-similiar.  

In other news, Jeremy was recently engaged to his girlfriend, Carissa!   So we will have another family wedding here in Lancaster in December.  How lucky am I that I get these 2 girls as sister-in-laws??

Found these pics off of Steve's phone from our camping trip this summer.

Steve sent us this pic from the ER to let us know that Josiah was doing ok.  He fell while playing with Morgan and whacked his head on the metal bed frame in the cabin and got staples in the back of his head.  I love this picture.  Mostly b/c my husband never takes selfies!!

Out of the Mouths

This morning I am taking Greta to the doctor for her check-up.  Josiah has lived at the doctor this summer. Between staples in his head and strep throat, a bead up his nose and stitches again he is not a huge fan of the doctor.

I was just getting him dressed to go and he says to me, "I no need ketchup, just Greta has ketchup."  Took me a second to realize ketchup=check-up.

"No, bud.  You don't need any ketchup."
