Pumpkin Patch

I think my dad must have put some steroids in his garden this year.  He has some serious pumpkins going on.  He wanted a pic of Greta with them.  Her face cracks me up on these first few.  It's like she's thinking, "get me off this crazy thing."

Crabs

Though my boy is feeling much better, he's still a bit out of sync.  He felt horrible for so long and he got away with some serious attitudes that typically we would not allow.  We're still trying to rein him back in. I'm kinda cracking myself up that I took these pictures, but the tantrum kept going and going and I couldn't resist.  Here he is having a fit b/c I was insisting that he said "please" when asking me for ice in his cup.

Through her eyes

One of my favorite photographers is Miss Shannon Odell.  She gave me my first camera lesson and I've been in love with her since!  She lives just down the road and attends church with us.  She's leaving again for college in just a few days.  The kids were excited to get to spend an evening with her earlier this summer.  I'm always thrilled when she brings her camera when she babysits, I love seeing my kids through her eyes.
My favorite of the night, my dirty little baby
I love this, it's totally Aaron's "show-off" face

And even more b-day

Morgan was allowed to have a couple of friends spend the night for her b-day and we kept having to postpone it b/c of sick little dude.  Tonight was finally the night that it worked.  I took the girls down to the creek, they all had a blast.  I had fun not having to chase little ones and getting to capture their joy.
Sweet friends

Faith is a full-blooded Philly girl and was a bit hesitant about the creek.  She was concerned about alligators.  I love her expression here.  She was not impressed at what Morgan and Celia were digging out of the mud.  She eventually joined in and had a ball.
The "seashell store"
I love this next series of pics.  I can't remember what they thought was so funny.  But they sure look cute.
Walking home by the light of the moon.
