Birthday Dinners

My parents have the tradition of taking our kids out to the restaurant of their choice for their birthday. It's always fun to see where the kids pick and I'm grateful to my parents for investing in my kids over and over.

So bummed to have missed Morgan's picture with my parents, not sure where I was that night!

Soccer

This is the first year that we have had Aaron in any sports.  He is loving being a part of his soccer team!

Grow, grass, grow.

This fall we had some big sections of grass that needed to be reseeded.  The kids were in love with the new sprinklers Steve bought.

Grandpa Ostermann

Last week we received word that Steve's Grandpa Oysterman (his mom's dad) was not doing well.  He's been battling Parkinsons for a few years and took a turn for the worse last weekend.  Steve decided to pack us all up and head out to Iowa.  His grandpa passed away as we were on the road to say good-bye to him.

We had a very nice week with his family.  As sad as it is to say good-bye to someone who was so well loved, it is with joy and peace that we said goodbye. He was so well loved and to know that he is in the presence of his God and Savior is comforting to us all.

Finished!

A few weeks back Steve put some finishing touches on our new outdoor area.  I love the lights, they're so fun.

It's gone!

After lots and lots and lots of waiting, Miss G finally lost her first tooth! She is about 2 years later than I remember her older siblings loosing them, not sure why hers took so long.  It was mildly loose for quite some time.  Yesterday she bit into something that made it much looser.  Little Miss went into the bathroom and yanked that sucker right out all by herself!!
