The many faces of G

Greta is 6!

Can't believe this sweet little thing is 6.  I know I say this all the time but she is growing up so quickly.

Some kids make their personalities known from the second they are born and others are taking a bit longer for me to figure them out.  Greta is still sometimes a mystery to me.  She is often quiet, but sassy, spunky, and full energy!  Greta usually spends her days coloring by herself or loving on Josiah and entertaining him in some way.  She loves to organize and bring order to things.  She does not like to be the center of attention unlike some of her siblings!!

The older Greta gets the more I see her special place in our family.  It is such a treat to watch her grow and change.  We love you miss G!!!

Girls Beach Trip 2014

We finished off our summer by having our annual girls trip to the beach.  It's such a fun time for all of us.  This year it was a bit hard for me to be away because Steve was home with a very sick and crabby Josiah and I hate to be away from my kids when they are sick.

This year my mom joined us for the majority of the trip, it was fun having grandma along!!

The first day we were there it rained so we did some shopping and swam at the hotel pool.  Day #2 had some CRAZY waves.  My older girls loved it so much.  Morgan literally did not leave the water except when I made her get out to eat.  The 3rd day we were there she actually asked me to bring her lunch so she could eat in the water!

 I am so grateful for this time with my precious daughters.
