BEACH!

One of my absolute favorite places to be is the beach. I like to take every opportunity I can to get there. So... I came up with a "girls beach trip"! This past weekend I took my 3 girls to the beach for 2 days. We had a great time. The weather was not the greatest, it felt a little like fall, but it was still fun to be near the sand and the waves.





I wanted to get some fun action shots of the girls playing in the water, but holding a squirmy baby while trying not to get my camera wet or sandy proved to be a difficult environment for getting any decent shots.








I ran out of money so Greta had sand for 2 meals. :)

Morgan cracks me up, she loves steamed clams. Yuck. My dad taught her to appreciate them. So, she heard me say something about seafood and asked if she could have some. She ate a dozen of the slimy, gross things. Too bad this pic is a little blurry.

The Big Night!

Well, tonight was the biggest night in my little Claudia's life! It was her first ever ballet recital. The anticipation of this night has been long and heartfelt. Claudia has wanted to dance for years and it was so exciting to see her little (or big!) dream come true!

Desitin for Dinner

Greta is in this incredibly squirmy stage where she does not want to lay or sit still, esp. while getting her diaper changed. When I am changing her, I usually give her something to play with/chew on. Yesterday I gave her the tube of Desitin and forgot to take it away from her when I was done. Uh-oh.

Honeysuckle

We went on a walk/bike ride today in search of some honeysuckle. So yummy...Aaron loved it and kept asking for "more juice".






We ended up down at the creek. Greta with some friends in the background who came to visit.


I was a little distracted with Greta and the cows and turned around and Aaron was trying to get a drink out of the puddle in the middle of the road. Thankfully, very few cars come this way!!
