Ready to take off

Little Josiah is getting closer and closer to a real crawl.  He gets up on all 4's, rocks, scoots from one end of his crib to the other, and can do a 360.  But still not officially "crawling".  I love to see his determination.  I can't take just one shot of this cutie, I love all his different expressions.  Morgan and Claudia were on either side of me, that's who he's looking at in most of the pics.

Stubborn

Last summer Aaron was learning to ride his bike with no training wheels and doing very well.  We didn't ride all winter and for whatever reason this spring, he has decided that he can NOT do it.  I have tried over and over with him and his stubborn attitude wins and I give up.
The other night Steve was out with him and got the first taste of the i-will-not-ride-my-bike stubbornness. I could laugh b/c it wasn't me with him.

I just showed this picture to Aaron and asked him what it was.  He said, "Me having a bad attitude."  Uh huh...

Matching

This morning after everyone was dressed and ready for church, I realized that we all semi-matched.  I grabbed the quick opportunity for a shot of the kids and I.  (Steve leaves super early on Sundays, though his brown sweater he wore today would have fit in just lovely.)

After I got to church I realized that Greta had a fever.  Yes, that's what happens when you have 5 kids.  You realize it after you get to church.  Her and Josiah and I turned around and came home.

My 5 year old is so bad.

Check out Aaron running the remote.  Being subtle is not his strong point.
