Greta's 5th birthday

Today our sweet Greta turns 5.  We had a party for her on Saturday and she was a bit confused that we were not doing her birthday again today.  She wanted all the girls to come back.

This was Greta's first year having a "real" party.  About a year ago I asked Claudia if she would like to plan the party.  You would have thought I'd given the girl a million dollars.  She was so excited to plan this day for Greta.

It did not take long for the 2 of them to develop the theme into a "fancy" party.  Claudia spent hours thinking and thinking about how to make this a special time for Greta.  She found treasures at yard sales to decorate with.  She really did an amazing job.

My parents had the boys.  It was fun to have a girl morning.  This was us in all our fanciness.

These rainbow fruit kabobs were the highlight of my day.  They were so pretty!

Claudia was very excited about her purple ombre cake
