It was also a good day. Hubby apologized when he got home with the new water heater. Got to spend some unexpected time with him while he tried to get that all situated. I have health insurance to pay for a displaced rib. My desperately dirty rug and floor got a much needed cleaning due to the yellow paint. The huge chunk in my finger was due to the very nice, new knives that Steve bought me a few weeks back. Got to share supper with my parents as dad helped lug the old water heater from the basement. The kids played outside all evening in the huge water heater box. My sweet friend Shannon O. is letting me borrow her lens while I figure out what to do to replace mine.
I am thankful for life, thankful for all that God has given us even in the midst of the chaos. I am loving this time of year and all that gets to happen with the door and windows open!
WOW! What a day.
ReplyDeleteThank you Lori for your honesty and your humility. I so appreciate how you do share the not so good parts of your days, but then always, always thank God for them.
I love you!
Shannon
I didn't know ribs could get out of place, either. Do you know how it happened? Is it painful?
