Hello Garage!!

Our work crew got even bigger today. Late last night, Steve's dad and his wife arrived to join in on the project. Lots of hands on deck made for a very productive day. They framed hung the trusses for the garage. Wow, it looks like a whole different house!!

Aaron was pretty excited to be having breakfast between both his grandpas.

Aaron was hiding out in the trusses. He kept popping up like a little groundhog.

Guess that header was a little heavy??

These were yesterday's shots. Here is the floor of our new living room

Laying the plywood for the floor

Little fingers can not leave nails and screws alone

Having Uncle Jeremy around is like a constant amusement park ride

Ta-da!! The final results today!!

  1. Wowzer! That certainly looks different than when I saw it last night! It's amazing what an extra pair (or two) of hands can make.

  3. Wow! It looks amazing! I love all of the pictures...the one of "Aaron's garage" is my favorite! Praying that God will continue to fill you with patience & plenty of grace as you are enduring all of the mess that comes along w/remodeling while cooking, doing laundry, homeschooling etc. His provision is perfect!

  4. Thank you to all the grandpas and uncles that are helping Steve and Lori with their house. What a blessing you are to them and it looks like such fun in the process. Everything looks well done even though I don't know anything about carpentry. Heehee.
Great pictures - keep them coming.
