so the shingling was postponed for the day. The guys worked inside and got some huge things done. They busted through the upstairs wall opening up the new bedroom.
There wasn't much to take pics of today so I had a little photo shoot with Greta and the few things that are still blooming around here. Not much was untouched by the construction!
Steve had a little accident today. As they were working upstairs, he stepped on a board that he thought was secure and fell into the bathroom!
They knocked the wall open from my kitchen into my new living room. It looks so big!!
Thank you mom for bringing the yummy supper. It was a nice break from feeding the crowd!!
Whoa, did Steve actually fall fall through the ceiling? Or just step through? That's like one of the things I always fear/have a curiosity about happening! haha
ReplyDeleteVery wise decision to forgo the shingles/wind combo. A basketball hoop fell onto a car at the office today; can only imagine the difficulty you would of had on a roof!
QJ thinks the blurry person in the flower picture is Aunt Rachel. Is he right?

ReplyDeleteYou just dropped that picture and comment about Steve's "little accident" in there like it was just a side note! Good thing there are plenty of guys around who know how to fix the "little" problem. That would be a catastrophe for us. And Steve is ok?

ReplyDeleteWOW Lori! So much is happening! I love the flower/Greta shots! Beautiful composition. & oh dear,,, the bathroom ceiling....things like that are inevitable when remodeling i suppose! I get excited just seeing all of the extra space that you will have & it's not even my house!!! YAYYYY!
